Made for Another World - C. S. Lewis

I posted the lyrics to "Reaching" by Carolyn Arends several days ago, because I'll be singing it for special music at church in a couple weeks. I like that song, because it speaks to the desire each of us has for something more, something that we often can't define. Blaise Pascal called it a "God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man." I like the way that C. S. Lewis puts it:

If I find in myself desires which nothing on earth can satisfy, the only reasonable explanation is that I was made for another world. - C. S. Lewis
